One of the main agreements reached by the Network of EU Independent Fiscal Institutions (IFIs) in their Paris meeting on 2 November has been the creation of a working group to analyze medium-term budgetary frameworks.
The Network of EU IFIs welcomes recent steps made by the Commission to make the European Fiscal Board (EFB) operative. The Chairman, Niels Thygesen, and the additional four members were appointed yesterday and are expected to start working soon. Read more
